About Us

Monochrome Rebel was created from a desire to find high quality designs for makers (of pens, tumblers, chainmaille, and more).  Except not the same designs as everywhere else, but different.  Less flowery, less pink, and less cutesy.  Definitely more edgy, more nerdy, more off-the-wall, definitely more swear-y, and FUN.  

Monochrome Rebel takes pride in providing designs that can be used over and over by makers – and we encourage you to play with them! Cut the designs up, patch them back together in your own way, or only use part of a design. It’s all up to you. 

Seamless designs are one of our specialties – designs for pens, tumblers and even rhinestones that are completely seamless. Not only are they the right size, but they match up perfectly.  If you’re looking for something and we don’t have the size you’re looking for, feel free to ask. There’s a good chance it can be made!

We design things that we love, make us laugh, or wherever the muse happens to take us. Looking for something you can’t find? Drop us a line, you may just inspire us!

Monochrome Rebel is owed and operated by Breanne, out of Winnipeg, Canada.  I am a mom, a wife, an engineer, a nerd, a web designer, data analyst, and a graphic designer, trying to juggle all of those at once! But then, who is this “us” that I speak of? I can’t forget about Morty the Penguin. Monochrome Rebel’s colorful, feisty and fashionable mascot who loves to show off the newest designs!

Between snowstorms and chaos, I have found solace in art, and am passionate about sharing the joy and catharsis I experience by putting color to canvas (of one sort or another). I believe that art is a means of expressing one’s heart and soul – sometimes overtly, sometimes less so. I sincerely hope that the designs you find here help bring you joy – or at least a good laugh.
